HACCP in catering establishments: English HACCP dictionary for food safety terminology. English in gastronomy.
During food production and food treatment, it is necessary to observe the regulations related to food law, as well as food safety and hygiene. This applies not only to different catering establishments, which run catering production, but also to food manufacturing companies. During distribution, these rules and regulations also apply. We have to not just implement the HACCP system, but also follow this system in practice. For this reason, we have to know this system and its procedures and be able to do record-keeping. In this post related to English in gastronomy, we focus on the terminology of the HACCP system, in which I translate into Polish different vocabulary related to this system. We'll find out about different very important English words referring to the HACCP system, which we have to know, and how to translate into Polish different principles of this system.
If we want to work abroad in various catering establishments, we will have to know English terminology related to food safety and hygiene, in particular, the terminology of the HACCP system. In this case, knowledge of English in gastronomy will be helpful for us, so in this post, I want to focus on basic vocabulary which is related to the HACCP system. In this post, I will explain what the HACCP system is and what laws govern its use in real life. I will also talk about the different principles behind it and include words and phrases related to it, as well as their Polish translations.
